This tiny man made lake is easily found by heading for the huge spoil hill created adjacent. Surrounded by abandoned reminders of Victorian industry this place is incredibly eerie as the sun sets.
Follow the”Two Moors Way” path to the “Red Lake China Clay Works” you can see it from miles away (unless the fogs down)
Can recommend it enough, the view from the spoils hill is awesome
